The Business Contacts was first initiated by the Career Development Center of the Department of Business and Economics as well as the alumni networks of the department, AlumniUM e.V. and Marketing Alumni Münster e.V. in 2008. Since 2013 the fair is being organised by the Business Contacts GmbH, a subsidiary of the AlumniUM e.V.
