Pixel Photonics is a pioneering deep-tech start-up founded in 2021 as a spin-off of the University of Münster. Through its unique approach of integrating superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPDs) with nanophotonic waveguides on a single chip, Pixel Photonics has achieved a breakthrough in the field of photon detection. Pixel Photonics' detectors have versatile applications in fields such as quantum computing, microscopy, secure quantum communication, light detection and ranging (LiDAR), medical technology and laser communication. The Pixel Photonics team consists of 36 employees from 9 different countries and is constantly growing.
